World Series of Poker update - 7th Nov 2009 Final Showdown

7th November 2009 as the day for the last 9 remaining contenders for this year's World Series of Poker. According to the World Series of Poker, a total of 6494 numbers of players had participated in this tournament. But intense competition in this game led to the final 9 contestants. The only Poker star who still remain in the race is Phil Ivey (my personal favorite too).

World Series of Poker update 2009 - the final list
List of all the remaining 9 players who fought out in this year's WSOP are:
1. Darvin Moon

2. Eric Buchman

3. Steven Begleiter

4. Jeff Shulman

5. Joseph Cada

6. Kevin Schaffel

7. Phil Ivey

8. Antoine Saout

9. James Akenhead

World Series of Poker update - David Moon, the leader

Darvin Moon is leading the lot with a mammoth 59,930,000 chips. He is followed by Eric Buchman who has accumulated 34,800,000 chips. My favorite Poker star Phil Ivey is at the No. 7 position with 9,765,000 chips. Non-American players are still there in the race for the ultimate title. France's Antoine Saout (8th position) and England's James Akenhead (9th position) are two of such non-American players still fighting it out in the WSOP 2009. Saout and Akenhead have 9,500,000 and 6,800,000 chips respectively in their kitty.
