The US Federal Government has finally legalized online betting. And Iowa is the first among the US states who have authorized online poker. Doug Struyk, the state representative of Iowa, is now concentrating on work towards the venture. He feels that it is the right time.
According to the opinion of Struyk, online betting is nothing but an “account deposit wagering”. He has shared some interesting information about online gambling. He has informed that around 50,000 Iowans visit online casino frequently and play online poker on a regular basis.
He feels that local online casino owners can easily offer trustworthy games to the players as online gambling has been legalized in the state. Otherwise the online casinos outside the state provide gambling facilities and players can lose their precious dollars.

Though he has supported the bill, he feels that there is a poor chance of the bill to be passed. When the public will be properly instructed, it will have a value. The House Majority Leader feels that the concept is new in Iowa and people are not yet ready to accept it.
